A Certification in Worship Ministry is designed for persons desiring to learn to read music and design worship services based on biblical principles. By completing all courses listed below, you will not only complete the certification, but also earn undergraduate credit hours.

ASSOCIATE OF BIBLE - Emphasis: Worship Leading
Description
The Worship Leading Associates program is designed to educate the student in an understanding of both written and performed music and to equip the student to minister through music within the local church setting.
Program Outcomes
Students completing the Associate of Bible Degree are expected to:
- Demonstrate their understanding of the organization and origins of the written Word of God as a context for translation.
- Build the foundation and processes to think critically regarding decisions and the use of data.
- Compare worldviews and make a decision regarding personal worldview to guide life.
- Possess the ability to communicate personally and in a group with an understanding of people and community, relationships, and governance.
- Understand the development of humanity through history, literature, fine arts, and philosophy.
Worship Leading Students will exemplify the following understanding and skills:
- (Rudiments of Music, Harmony) have a clear understanding of basic music notation and theory.
- (Worship Leading) have a Bible-based understanding of worship and the skills to organize and prepare and lead Bible-centric worship services.
- (Voice, Guitar, Piano) be equipped with the ability to use selected areas in a skilled manner within a church setting.
