ASSOCIATE OF BIBLE - Emphasis: Biblical Studies
Description
The Associate of Bible Degree is designed to prepare a student for ministry with a foundation of scripture study and ministry skills. A student will demonstrate and apply the ability to use scripture as a foundation for ministry.
Program Outcomes
Students completing the Associate of Bible Degree are expected to:
- Demonstrate their understanding of the organization and origins of the written Word of God as a context for translation.
- Build the foundation and processes to think critically regarding decisions and the use of data.
- Compare worldviews and make a decision regarding personal worldview to guide life.
- Possess the ability to communicate personally and in a group with an understanding of people and community, relationships, and governance.
- Understand the development of humanity through history, literature, fine arts, and philosophy.
