ABHE is a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting agency based in Orlando, Florida.

Texas Baptist is also a member of and associates with the American Baptist Association of Theological Schools and cooperates in various programs to encourage quality Christian education.

Texas Baptist has been approved to participate in State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements. This approval grants us permission to offer online education in 49 states. California does not participate in NC-SARA; however, we have received independent authorization from the California Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education to offer online courses.
